He & She is a Recommended Read

I liked this story a lot. The author created Kit as a person one will recognize either in himself or others.

A guy who is approaching middle age and decides it is time to examine his life thus far and make some changes- even if the changes seem a bit unconventional not only to others but also himself.

Kit has lived a life without a real commitment – he’s a freelancer so he isn’t committed to a boss. He’s been in a long term relationship but the woman hasn’t been to his apartment (he has plenty of excuses for that too).

This is a story of coming of age- not the typical 18 year old coming of age but a middle aged guy who finally decides better late than never and sets out to find himself.

Kit isn’t a perfect person and his imperfections made him a very real (and likable) character.

The secondary characters were also well created and interacted well with Kit.

Great debut book that I definitely recommend.
