A Pleasently Suprising Read

Have you ever looked around and realized that you had no clue what you were doing in life or how you got there in the first place. Enter the mind of the deeply emotional and sensual K. I never read 50 Shades of Grey but it seems like this novel is similar to its description, only with a much older main character. At first I thought this was going to be another book with naughty parts but I was surprised with how much I liked it. The descriptions of the BSDM were well written and very engaging. I am not sure that I’m down with the BSDM but to each his own.

As for the character development, I loved K in this. He seemed too real, and I loved the first chapter. Even though they seemed a little bit slow it help cement K as a person. On a side note, April seems to be the month of erotic novels for me because I have read three so far. Not say that it is a bad thing.

All in all “He & She” was a great little read that shined a light on a culture that tends to not get a lot of exposure. 4/5
