This book is great for a newcomer to reading BSDM stories. The scenes aren’t too graphic and nothing is too hard to read about. In fact, the author has done such a great job at writing the story that you feel like you could be Kit and if not you at the least feel very attached to the character by the end of the story. It is a little on the longer side and personally I think the prologue reveals too much about the story before you actually get into it but other than that it is a really good read.
